Summer Stripes and Mixed Metals
If there is one enduring trend that I will forever love, it’s summer stripes. Now, don’t get me wrong, you will find me in stripes all year long, but I’m drawn to them even more in the summertime. Whether we’re talking nautical stripes, jailhouse stripes or even rugby stripes, I love them all! They’re the perfect print to try your hand at mixing prints with if you’re into that sort of thing and if you aren’t, they play very well on their own as well.
The moment I saw this little Peter Som for Kohl’s fit and flare dress, I knew I had to have it. It can be styled a slew of ways and this time I decided to pair it with gladiator sandals and my new arm candy that was sent over by Alex and Ani. I’ve been rockin’ these bracelets non-stop since they arrived. I’m diggin’ the mixed metals look and I just love that the dude and lil’ lady bean are representin’ on my wrist in the form of their initials. I do believe an addiction has been born. I’ve already started picking out some more Alex and Ani bangles that I want to snag! And I know they’ll look just perfect with all my summer stripes!

I love stripes, too! I prefer vertical instead of horizontal (on me), but horizontal are more in vogue right now, so I’m going with it. And who doesn’t like black and white? I have a tee with the exact stripes as your dress. Love the dress and the bag!

adorable dress..adorable YOU! Alex and Ani is like a freaking SENSATION here at the shore..everyone has them…so of course, I don’t want them…but WILL admit they are super cute and LOVE the mix metals!!! Makes it so easy to layer in your other favorite jewelry.
