Casual Winery Look

You might have realized that Kristin and I had the rare escape last weekend to Virginia wine country. We will have a full post next week on the details of our adventure but basically imagine two friends relaxing wineries for a weekend without kids…sounds pretty amazing doesn’t it?! Happy to report it was! And I wanted to share this cool casual winery look with you before the weekend! The ground was pretty soggy so we kept the outfit vibe low key.

Casual Winery Look

For this look I paired my Henry and Belle skinny jeans with a black and white striped turtleneck. This was one of those rare Old Navy finds. I swear I picked it up on clearance last year for $3 and its super soft. Often those purchases just don’t work out but I’m happy to report that this one was a win.

To keep my look chic and cool I layered it with my Anthropologie moto sweater. You might remember that I wore it in the Workwear Wednesday post last month with black dress pants, and I think it serves even better with casual pairings like this. I’m literally obsessed with it. It’s on sale right now so grab it while you can!

I also recently updated my converse to a khaki green color. My grey ones were in major need of replacing. I just wear them everywhere all the time and I’m falling in love with this color! They were perfect for the soggy ground that could have ruined nice boots.

We had a great time sipping and chilling and I’m loving this look for the next month or so here in Maryland. I’m kinda over my heavy coat and scarf at this point and so this kept me warm and feeling fresh. Just one little step closer to spring! Now if only we could go back to this winery today…
