Moms Do Fall Fashion: Cobalt
If you’ve been visiting this site for a while, you’ve probably noticed that I wear a LOT of cobalt. It’s most definitely my happy color, meaning I feel great whenever I put it on. If you can find a color that always puts a smile on your face, I say pepper your closet with pieces that are that hue. And since cobalt makes me grin, you will find a a ton of it in my wardrobe. I have everything from cobalt dresses, to cobalt heels and even cobalt bags. What I didn’t have was a cobalt poncho…I obviously needed one of those right? Haha! So, for today’s Moms Do Fall Fashion outfit, we’re talking about ponchos! And you didn’t think we were in this alone did you? The lovely Andrea from Momma Wears Flip Flops also shared one of her favorite fall looks, so make sure you head over there after you’re done here!
On a recent shopping to one of my favorite local boutiques in Tampa, Creme de la Creme, my mom and I came across a big pile of “scarves” in a wide away of colors. The best thing about this piece is that it can be worn a bunch of ways, so you can expect to see this beauty again sometime soon and it will look completely different! For today, I decided to wear it in a poncho style along with a large and in charge statement necklace, boyfriends and sandals. I’m getting in every last bit of sandal wear that I can. Haha!

This is great! I went out with a friend last night and when she picked me up, I laughed out loud. We both were wearing cobalt and black! I only have one cobalt sweater, so it was quite a surprise. Love your top!

I have never worn a poncho but that one looks super cozy.
First, your outfit is all that. My daughter and I are going to do vision boards with 7 days of outfits for the fall. My hope is that it will get my fall fashion started off right, and give her some ideas of what her comfort code looks like. I like the idea of getting as much wear out of sandals as possible!

By the way, cobalt is my favorite. I never know whether to call it cobalt or royal blue or if they’re different, but they look good with my black hair.
Beautiful .. I like the pop of color with that Tory Burch Necklace. Cobalt is a nice color to transition into fall .. its not too dark or too light.

And this cobalt looks so good on you, it contrasts nicely with the highlights in your gorgeous brunette hair and it makes your juicy red lips POP!
