Style Challenge: Neon

It’s that time again. It’s time for another fabulous blogger style challenge! This time we’ve partnered up Laura from Walking in Memphis with Heels and Trina from Baby Shopaholic and our fashion trend of choice is neon. If you aren’t already familiar with these lovely ladies, get ready to love them! Their styles are fabulously unique and chic!

I chose the Collective Concepts maxi that I received in my Golden Tote box for my neon look. If you haven’t tried out Golden Tote yet, I highly recommend it. The tote I had the pleasure of sampling included six gorgeous pieces. I chose two and the rest were fun surprises. I’ll go into more detail about my tote next week, but I couldn’t wait to test drive something from it and this neon print maxi fit in perfectly with our style challenge.

I styled my new maxi with Mark hoop earrings, my mama’s bangle and my trusty Prabal for Gurung sandals. Laura sent me her look earlier in the week and I thought it would be fun to show you how versatile those shoes are since she rocked them too!

Oh and I have to talk about my hair for a moment. The weather has been just awful here in Tampa. It’s been raining for days and terribly humid. In this kind of weather I always have to go with my natural waves and Nexxus Youth Renewal dry shampoo has saved me from having to wash it every day which I often do when I’m not straightening it because nobody wants flat waves. The dry shampoo gives me a bit of volume and lets me extend the life of my waves. Score! Did I mention that is smells delicious?

    1. Thank you! I’ve definitely embraced the waves more as I’ve gotten older. I used to totally fight them when I was younger. Haha!
