Reworking the Denim Shirt for Fall
Can you believe that today is the last day of our Moms Do Fall Fashion series?! We’ve had such a blast teaming up with some of our favorite style influencers to bring you loads of fall outfit ideas and today is no different. But first…let’s talk about how to style the denim shirt for fall.
Now a couple weeks back Megan showed you how she’s wearing a denim shirt for her fall looks…and now it’s my turn. We actually both chose the J. Jill Indigo Tunic and while she went for a decidedly more dressed up look by adding peep toe booties to her denim shirt and leggings combo, I, on the other hand, went the casual route.
On most fall days if I’m not rockin’ boyfriend jeans and skinnies, you’ll probably find me in leggings. That and a comfy shirt or tunic is basically my mommy uniform…but I’m not talking about the bad oversized tee/leggings combo we all remember from our youth. No,no…Just because you’re comfortable doesn’t mean you can’t still be chic. Simply add a fun statement necklace and a pair of comfy mocs, like my Rockport pair, to the denim shirt you pick for fall and you’re ready to take on the day in comfort AND style!
