Champagne Saturday: Cobalt is the New Black
Champagne Saturday is back baby! And it seemed only fitting to kick things off with my favorite color. In case you aren’t familiar with Champagne Saturday…Every weekend, we’ll be featuring a fun outfit and/or a tasty cocktail. First up…we have cobalt.
For me, cobalt is ALWAYS the new black. If you’ve been reading this site for a while, you know that cobalt is my happy color and whether it’s “in” or not…it will always be my go to hue. So, obviously I have a ton of cobalt, AND pieces that go with it, in my closet.

Take this tie dye print maxi for instance. It was the perfect piece to wear with my new cobalt tote. The cobalt plays beautifully against the neutral blush hue and you can bet that both the maxi and the bag are going to get a lot of play this fall. While it’s still sweltering here in Tampa, I can make this strapless frock work later in the season by adding a jacket.
