Style Challenge: The Maxi Dress
If you’ve been around these parts before, you know much I love a good maxi dress. I really can’t get enough of them! So, you know I was thrilled when we decided to tackle maxis for our latest style challenge with Andrea of Momma in Flip Flops, Ellen of That Chic Mom, Carly of Thirty Something Fashion, Julie of Mom Fabulous, Audrey at MomGenerations, Felicia of Go Grow Go, Maria Very Busy Mama, Ashley at Messy Beautiful Life and Gladys of The Mother Overload.
I went with a neon, tribal print number that I picked up at Target on my Myrtle Beach vacation. It’s the epitome of what I love about maxi dresses. It’s easy…It’s breezy…It’s SO comfortable. I went really simple with the styling and wore little adornment aside from my beloved African bead necklace. This was actually my travel look. I do tend to wear maxis when I head off on trips too. I’m all about comfort, especially in the summertime, but you know I don’t want to sacrifice style for comfort!

I’ve been able to score a few maxi dresses on clearance at Target over the years and they are still some of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe. I absolutely love yours too and that necklace! 😉

Personal question & disregard if you want, but what kind of bra do you wear? I shy away from these types because I never know what bra to wear. Maybe it’s because I’ve been breastfeeding for so many years and it was never an option, but I love it and would love to know what’s a good one so I don’t have to feel like I’m constantly hiking it up.
