Ever wonder how to transition a sleeveless top for fall? Those summer tops can call to us all as they hang there looking all cute during cooler temperatures. When I received this plaid tunic in my last Stitch Fix box I instantly fell in love with it. I even wore it to the beach in August. But fall has quickly descended on us here and we are already looking to layering pieces to stay warm. I knew that this would be a great layering piece for fall, both for its great plaid pattern and thin material.
For an everyday look, I decided to transition a sleeveless top for fall by adding a thick grey cardigan sweater and distressed skinny jeans. This was perfect combination for a chilly September morning headed to the bus stop. Ahhh it is so crazy to walk my little guy to the bus stop!
I recently picked up these distressed jeans from Shopbop thanks to Kristin recommending the brand. They are so soft and they fit really true to size for me. They are fitted but not so snug I can’t breathe. I just adore them! Gotta love the best friend rec, always a winner.
I also added my recent fall closet shoe addition, Lucky Brand booties. I’m so loving these black suede ankle booties! They have a low stacked heel and were comfortable right away. No band-aids needed here. They are such a fun score that I know will go with just about everything!
