Monday Mingle: Winter Metallics
Remember the fab pink coat I shared last week? Well, this is what I was wearing underneath it…None other than a little winter glitz in the form of metallics! Yep, my beloved metallic Brian Atwoods have made another appearance.
It was ridiculously cold out the day these photos were taken and this Florida girl just couldn’t muster up the courage to take off her coat for a photo sesh, so Megan and I ran back up to our hotel room at the lovely Empire Hotel and took a few quick shots there. It may not be the best light, but I was blissfully warm, so it was totally worth going back to the hotel. Haha! Plus, you can see how gorgeous our room was. Staying at The Empire Hotel is always a pleasure and this time was no different. Did I mention our room was HUGE? We actually had room to move around without tripping over our over packed bags. It was bliss, I tell you. Bliss.
I’m all kinds of obsessed with my turquoise Karen Kane blouse. It’s the kind of piece that I can use to add a fun pop of color to my winter looks when I need a break from neutrals and it will easily transition into spring as well. And my neck candy that my friend gave me for my birthday sparkled fabulously against it…no? You can’t beat winter metallics! Of course, I’m all for the glitz that comes from metallics ANYTIME!
