Nine Ways to Wear Neon this Summer
Are you ready for another fun style challenge? We certainly are! This time around we’ve teamed up with some lovely bloggers you should recognize, as well as some new beauties to introduce you to! I am particularly excited about this topic because neon simply makes me happy. Neon hues are just so bright and cheerful. If you’re a long time BonBon reader, I’m sure you’ve noticed that as soon as summer comes new, I start posting about neon. Haha! In fact, since it’s Thursday, and it’s rained every time I’ve wanted to shoot this week, I decided to make today’s challenge a throw back Thursday and show you a couple of my favorite neon looks from the past.
First up is a neon top and white denim combo from a neon challenge that I did with Jo-Lynne last summer. I love white denim as much as I do neon! Don’t you? I also have a neon maxi from two summers ago. I still love it just as much now as I did then. In fact, I do believe I need to pack that bad boy for my upcoming family getaway with Megan, but I digress…

I love that dress! Gorgeous. And I remember that other outfit from last year. 🙂 Love those distressed white jeans. I cheated and used some of last year’s pictures b/c the shoes I ordered for this one didn’t arrive. 🙂

I’m so glad to hear this. I have an extremely bright yellow swimsuit cover. I always get compliments on it, but I’m a little modestly conservative. I typically don’t wear bright colors. I’m not known for being flashy. Just to feel like everyone else is doing it, in a way gives me more right to wear brighter colors this summer. I’m not comfortable wearing neon – so I have added a few new bracelets that are neon. Amazing how much a neon bracelet can add to a outfit.

I love that maxi dress on you! I’m not much for neon colors but I think I could pull of a top similar to the one you were wearing.
I remember neon from the 80’s when I was a kid. Funny how it’s coming back in style. I have bought a few pieces of neon clothing for my girls.
