Our Moms Do Fall Fashion series was such a big hit we decided to continue on with the fun and launch our Moms Do Holiday Style series today. We’ve once again collaborated with some incredibly stylish mamas who have loads of seriously fabulous  holiday style ideas for you. Now as for our look…Today’s featured holiday outfit doesn’t necessarily include traditional holiday colors, but red lips and nails totally makes it ready for a night out during the holiday season no? Haha! I scored this super comfy grey dress in the last TSF Box Service box that Carly from Thirty Something Fashion, who will be sharing her holiday outfit with us soon, and I can’t get enough of it. You’ll actually see it styled another way later on in our series, but for today I dressed it up with a cognac leather necklace and heels. It’s the kind of look that’s perfect to rock when you want to look cute, but be comfy at the same time…which is pretty much every day for this girl. Bwah!

  3. I love going to the family gathering we have ,So this gives me a nice reason to dress up. Often we have a few at different houses, one is usually here in my home, then I go to another members home and so on, Its pretty busy , but fun!!

  61. If a company has a relatively formal holiday event, it’s always fun to wear something not office appropriate. Not sleazy or anything, but if all people are used to seeing you in are suits and similar ensembles, it’s fun to appear in a beautiful dress with some killer accessories. Other than that, gatherings out with family or friends — if we’re at home, we are pretty casual in dress. The other stuff is more important to us — especially the ones (like me) in the kitchen all day cooking!

I don’t have anywhere to dress up right now because I have no family where I live (literally no one) and I work too much to have time to make friends (I’ll be working Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day). But when I lived near the fam I USED to love getting dressed up for Christmas Eve. It felt magical. I miss that.
