Go Boho with a Peasant Blouse
I’ve made it no secret that I worship Nicole Richie’s boho perfect style because there aren’t many who do boho better than her in opinion. That girl can work a peasant blouse like nobody’s business! If only I could carry it off with the same aplomb. Well, let me tell you…I’ve been practicing. Haha! I’ve yet to truly pull of the whole boho princess look as effortlessly as I would like to, but I’ll keep trying. I’m no quitter. Bwah! In fact, I’m fully on board the peasant blouse train these days.
Before recently, I hadn’t rocked a peasant blouse since college and I’m not exactly sure why. They really are such versatile pieces and can totally be devoid of kitsch when worn right. I love how easy and breezy the blouses we styled below are and they fit in perfectly with the 70s movement that forever seems to be happening in the fashion world!
Boho Peasant Blouse Style
You could, for instance, get ready for summer and rock a fun colored peasant blouse with a pair of boyfriend jeans and oh so comfy moccasins.
You could also fully embrace the boho vibe and rock florals with flares. This isn’t for the faint of heart!
Or you could opt for a fall perfect print with long sleeves. Finish things off with leggings and booties!
Finally, you could go for a bold color peasant blouse that would jazz up your look from fall to spring!
And if you aren’t in the market for some shopping today, I bet if y’all went and shopped your wardrobes, you might find a peasant top or two like I did! I had totally forgotten about a couple of beauties that have just been killing time in my closet! I’m seeing a future outfit post…

Cute- #1 and 3 🙂
I love the Forever 21 top. It would definitely go with a pair of black skinny jeans, boots, and dangly earrings.
You know what’s also fabulous about these tops? You can eat cake and not worry about if your belly looks puffy.

Précisément!
I LOVE that first one! The price tag is a little painful though… :o(
Oh gosh, those are super cute!
I love them too. So easy to wear. Wish I could adds few of these to my closet! Great picks.
Nicole Richie’s style is amazing and I want to copy it better lol.
I love bohemian things! Gorgeous!

These are so pretty…and a great look for a post baby mommy 😉
Absolutely love the DVF one! Especially the silvery grey color.

Ha, Heavenly Housewife said what I was thinking… I’m wearing my Tucker for Target blouse that has a peasant style to it… love the flowy, FORGIVING nature of it!
I am loving both of those pretties from Forever 21 (the price too!). I can see either with a pair of skinny jeans, some flats and big earrings.
Loving these…they totally fullfill my desire to become a 70s flower child!
I just big puffy hear anything BOHO!!!:)
I searched and searched in my wardrobe but couldn’t find any beautiful forgotten top… why do I always give my old clothes and then regret it? xo
I LOVE peasant blouses, so chic and easy to wear!
I shopped my closet last weekend! Many amazing things were found, but unfortunately no peasant blouse.
I want that first one! Too bad Ella Moss usually translates to “outside my clothing allowance!”
Are you kidding me? Fantastic selections! I think my favorite has to be the Ella Moss songbird peasant top, but BOTH those F21 tops are keeping the race tight! (Can you tell I’m a print fan? haha). Seriously love these picks. Thanks for the inspiration!
Love all the shirts!
We have a papaya here and they sell a lot of knockoff’s for cheap, love it!

I LOVE the first Forever 21 pick — so fun!
I like the boho look…but I’m not the biggest fan. I like my clothing to be a little bit more form fitting.
Very pretty. I especially love peasant blouses postpartum. They do have the added benefit of covering things up a bit.
These blouses are beautiful, and I love them because they’re so seasonless! And they’re great for work or play!
I kind of like the idea of pairing one with skinny jeans and heels, a la Lauren Conrad. That Joie one is really pretty! 😀
Love the first one. I think that may need to make it’s way into my closet
Ramblings of a Small Town Girl
Love them all… especially the DVF!
I die for that DVF top – it’s so simple and elegant!
I actually like the tops you featured here! I was imagining those hideous white cotton numbers with the heavy embroidered flowers. Yuck! these are light and airy and pretty!
I’ve been all about blouses lately. Your picks are so pretty!
Btw, love that emerald green post inspired by the Golden Globes! Especially a fan of those gorgeous pumps.
Huge fan of the peasant/hippy Chic look – so easy when you are a busy mum and a reason to not brush my hair!!
Love this! So spring-y and makes me long for days of green grass instead of snow covered brown.
Hello, DVF! That gray one is so chic and fabulous.

Love that pleated one:-) So simple and fun! Off to check out guest post, how awesome is that!
I LOVE the DVF one. SO CLASSY.
(also the F21 one is modeled by nicole who once won america’s next top model and i am kind of sad i know that. haha.)
I LOVE this look! I have a vintage peasant blouse that’s white with a light brown floral print. It’s all gauzy with super puffy sleeves, it’s awesome. 🙂
I love flowy blouses with puffed sleeves lately too. I don’t consider myself a very boho girl, but they don’t have to look boho! Cinching a loose blouse with a belt makes it look a lot less haute hippie and more like something verging on classic chic.
I really love these!
Nicole Richie definitely rocks the boho trend. She looks fab. I love all these blouses. The last one is so pretty.
These are all so gorgeous!
I am impressed with f21!

DvF always does it right – what a beautiful floaty top! Will have to go check out your guest post!
Very pretty looks, for sure!
Super cute! It’s really hard to pick my favourite.

P.S. My apologies… I’ve been too busy I’ve fallen behind in my blog catch up.
