Bright Ballet Striped Tee

Calling all tee-shirt lovers! We’ve found another great one and this bright ballet striped tee is definitely not one to miss. I love styling a tee with a blazer for a casual professional look, although I already have a few other ways I’m planning on wearing it.

So the background. Knowing that I love stripes, you won’t be surprised when I say I already have two striped tee’s in my closet. But I discovered that they both felt a little short length wise which make them hard to wear, especially to work. I was on the hunt for a fresh striped tee shirt that I could style into the summer. Then I stumbled upon this bright ballet striped tee with a scoopback. It’s on sale so I bought it in both this bright red orange shade and the black and white. Because a girl just really can’t have enough stripes. Right? (Please say yes, my closet is getting out of hand!)

To wear it to work I wore it with my black ponte legging pants and a black tweed blazer with frayed cuffs and neckline. It wore well all day long and as temperatures got surprisingly warm for February I was even able to take off the blazer with no worry.

These earrings are from my recent Stitch Fix. I love their accessories!

Did I mention that things warmed up and we all rejoiced around here? I think visions of flip flops and roof top bars were dancing in our heads for a full 48 hours! When the blazer came off I added this Stella and Dot elephant scarf. I love mixed prints and it was nice to go bold to match the weather, even for a little while.
