Champagne Saturday: Getting Cozy
Happy weekend! While Kristin is off in Philly having a glam filled girls weekend (hey ladies!!) here in Annapolis things are pretty low key. I have some baking, shopping and decorating to do and tomorrow night it’s a Hanukkah dinner with friends.
Last night I had a few glasses of vino with dinner, so this morning I voted against the bubbly in favor of hot cocoa with loads of marshmallows. It was the first I’ve had in ages and it was delish! Floyd and I have a little Starbucks mug collection from places around the world we visit. Of course with the general large size of Starbucks mugs and Floyd’s traveling schedule we have to have rules around the collection. I don’t want to let it get out of hand and end up on an episode of hoarders! The rule is that you have to have actually visited the place and walked around prior to your mug purchase. If you don’t leave the airport it doesn’t count. Unfortunately Puerto Rico did not survive the Thanksgiving chaos. Guess we’ll just have to go back!
Oh and I’m wearing the Ugg ‘Cardy’ Classic Knit Boot bought last winter from Nordstrom, black leggings, and this Gap sweater.

I love the cardis. I have a pair in black that I get to wear to work everyday. technically, not in the dress code, but they’re just so heavenly. Now I’m going to go have a cup of hot cocoa. 🙂

well you are better than i am when it comes to those starbucks mugs. my friends started giving them to me so i broke that rule and just grabbed mugs whnever -even at the airport. this pics are too cute and cozy – love them!!

Yummm for Cocoa! Those international Starbucks mugs are amazing – they’re HUGE! We have a bunch too, and I am so attached to the one I bought in Beijing this past summer.

I love my UGGS and these look so cozy!! And I love your mug collection idea. I try to collect Christmas ornaments in my travels. That way when I setup my Christmas tree, I can think of all the amazing places and memories we’ve shared throughout the year!

Lol, I totally hear you on trying not to end up on an episode of hoarders. I’ve tried to start several travel collectibles, but my apt is so small, that I usually just end up with post cards. And i don’t know what it is about the ugg cardy boots but I love them!
