Summer Eyelet Top

We are finally feeling the heat here in the DC area and I am all smiles about it. After what felt like way too much rain and chilly weather, I’m excited to be wearing cheerful breezy looks like this summer eyelet top. Does anything scream summer quite like eyelet? I just love it!This summer eyelet top is the Gemma top from Cabi. I’ve actually had it for a while and just haven’t worn it yet. I’m excited to say its currently in my closet rotation! I love this vibrant “jelly bean” green color and it could also work with a little denim jacket if need be. I decided to pair it with skinny cropped jeans and of fun statement necklace from Stella & Dot. This necklace has been so versatile and while its no longer available, I’ve linked to another great S&D piece below that’s on sale now and will be just as fab!A few other details I’m loving about this summer eyelet top is the lace trim, the pleat and the longer length in the back. It just makes this top feel more special even for a casual look. Of course I had to bring my Sam Edelman gold gladiators sandals along for the ride. I literally have been wearing these so much already this summer. They are just too comfortable and go with everything! Definitely a smart purchase! Now that I’ve dipped my toes into the Cabi clothing waters I definitely think I will buy more. The quality is really great! It took me a few times to get my size down since it runs more like traditional women’s sizing, meaning I was buying things too big and having to return. Now that I know my numbers though I can’t wait to try out more. Have you tried it? What do you think of this top?
