Getting Active with Huggies and $25 Target Giveaway

Disclosure: This post is part of a social sho pper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Huggies, but all my opinions are my own. #HuggiesSlipOn #pmedia

Today I want to dish a little on a dirty little secret I’ve been keeping.  Actually I guess its more of a clean little secret which is a nice change. It’s Huggies Slip-On diapers.  We’ve been at a bit of an awkward diaper stage with Jake.  At 18 months he thinks he is a “big kid” swinging from the curtains yet mama knows differently.  He is still my little baby Jake at heart.

We recently had a few leaky moments during his “energetic moments” with another diaper yet he wasn’t ready in weight to move up to the next size.  Enter Huggies Slip-On diapers.  I was intrigued to try them out and instantly loved the stretchy sides.  He seems so comfortable in them and free to run around without feeling constricted.  They can go on and off like underpants or like a traditional diaper, which for us is nice and easy since I sometimes have to deal with a standing child who is trying to squirm away from me naked. Yeah that’s fun. Er…

Most importantly I can let my little guy climb over the couch and under the coffee table without worrying that there will be a trail of you know what behind him.  I trust these diapers not to leak which is such a refreshing change.  Oh and one more little thing we love.  They actually say “Back” on the back.  Which makes Dad feel confident that he’s doing it right.  Jake’s happy too.  No one like wearing their diaper backwards.  No one.

  1. We’ve been using the slip ons, on and off (we are huggies pure & natural believers) but sometimes you need a diaper that you can pull onto a little squirmy monkey that won’t sit still. Love the slip ons and love that they are “adjustable” as well.

  2. My daughter loves to turn on princess songs and hold her hands up and pretend she is dancing with the prince’s in the movies. She especially loves prince phillip from sleeping beauty.

  3. Eating toothpaste was something one boy I babysat LOVED. That was an adventure, but easy to just shut the bathroom door…

  4. He is almost 2 and his crazy thing to do is sneak in to the kitchen, open the fridge and drop eggs on the floor while whistling like a missile.

  5. We found my son in the kitchen with my husband’s protein jug & some eggs. He was going to “make breakfast”. He was 3 at the time. Still cracks me up!

  6. My son loves to ride on our dog’s back! Entered the rafflecopter as “Wild orchid”

  7. My youngest son was always trying to get to the cat food. We actually had to put a baby gate up and shield him from the cat food. He would eat the cat food, but wouldn’t eat his baby food? 🙂

  8. How can i answer that?! I adore all his little micheivious doings lol! I’d have to say watching him role play is the cutest though

  9. even just being an aunt i know enough to know that this looks ingenious!!! great suggestion for my sisters!!

  10. My son just turned two, and last week I watched him remove the window screen and escape out onto the deck! We got window locks the next day 🙂

  11. My niece used to jump out of her clothes and run around the house giggling until we caught her. Just like that, out of the blue.

  12. I always find it amusing when he tries to dance to the latest “tunes.” Sometimes his moves are pretty good!

  13. Stand at the baby gate at the top of the stairway and holler “E” over and over again when her big sister was napping.

  14. My son frequently writes all over himself with any pen or marker he can get his hands on! it’s always interesting ot discover if it’s washable or permanent!
