Read on to see how to make our super simple Mardi Gras Muddy Buddies snack mix.
I have wanted to go to Mardi Gras for years. New Orleans is so rich in history and culture and I think it would be such a blast to experience something like Mardi Gras that is such an iconic tradition!
That being said, it hasn’t happened…yet. Trust me, a New Orleans trip is definitely on the agenda when it’s feasible again. Until I plan that next trip, however, I’ll settle for celebrating it at home.
I have actually only been to New Orleans once. And I have always wanted to return. Mardi Gras seems like the perfect occasion right? Haha!
Since we are currently not traveling like we used to, like I mentioned, I’ve tried to make the best of things by channeling my favorite destinations whenever I can. That includes celebrating at home.
And what celebration is complete without treats? Making recipes from the regions I long to visit is one of my coping mechanisms…
And this fun Mardi Gras Muddy Buddies Snack Mix is a perfect way to get into the Mardi Gras spirit! That and a whole bunch beads of course…We have something called Gasparilla here in Tampa and beads are a big time part of the parade, so I have a large and in charge collection of them.
Much like Mardi Gras, Gasparilla has been put on ice. Until next year…So, let’s talk about how to make this yummy Mardi Gras Muddy Buddies snack mix shall we?
