How to Wear Neutral Booties

Fringe was one of fall’s hottest trends last year…and this girl jumped in with both feet. I picked up not one, but two pairs of fringe booties, one being a great pair of neutral booties. Now when I go all in with a trend, like I did with ponchos last year too, I make sure it’s something I really love, that way I can rock it with confidence the next year too. Fringe might not be this fall’s biggest thing, but there are still plenty of fun ways that it can be worn! In fact, I decided to turn to my fringe bedecked neutral booties for today’s Moms Do Fall Fashion look. I just hope it’s half as chic as what Bertha from Chic in Academia put together this weekend and Carly from Thirty Something Fashion and Andrea from Momma in Flip Flops styled today! Did I mention we’re teaming up with them to bring you three more fun fall looks for moms?

So, let’s talk fringe…These faux suede fringe booties were a Payless score and they were such a steal, the cost per wear ratio came out in my favor like right away. Not only are they the perfect neutral hue, but they’re crazy comfortable which is always a must for this busy mama these days. They actually have a another faux suede pair that don’t have fringe, but would fit right in with your fall wardrobe. Check them out HERE…but I digress. As for the reset of the look, I turned to my go-to distressed denim, a rust sweater and turquoise statement necklace.

I, obviously, continue to be inspired by our trip out West and can’t help but insert elements from my adopted part of the country into my fall style. You can bet you’ll be seeing more of that Western vibe in looks to come!
