Fall Style Color Crush: Olive Green
When you think about fall, what is the first thing you mind goes to. Pumpkin spice lattes right? Me too! Ok, I jest. Sort of. It’s the colors right? All these beautiful Autumnal hues just make me smile. And if there is one fall color that I find myself turning to again again, apart from orange, it’s olive green. It’s a pretty universally flattering shade and while you can certainly work it in via camo form, which I’m also a fan of, there are other ways to wear olive green this fall.
How to Wear Olive Green
Olive green top…The olive green of this top automatically gave my outfit a fall feel and paired with suede ankle boots, I needed little else to complete the look but a metallic bead necklace and cuffed distressed jeans.
Skirt…Now the first look had a decidedly more casual vibe. Megan’s outfit, here, is more dressed up thanks to the fun pleated skirt! I also love how she finished things off with eye catching statement earrings!
Sweater…I know it feels like it’s too early to think about sweaters, but trust me, sweater weather is coming and it will be here long before winter arrives. I love the idea of an olive green sweater paired with a fun pop of color like PINK!
Jacket…You simply can’t go wrong with a military jacket. It comes back season after season. I mean, we’ve been writing about them for years! A fresh take on this trend is to rock your olive green jacket over a dress. Stripes are always a go-to of ours!
