Putting Fall into Fashion
When it comes to fall fashion, there isn’t a more fall perfect color than orange of a pumpkin. The deep fall-ready hue pairs so well with a slew of different shades and it’s abundantly available this time of year, even here in Florida where fall doesn’t exactly feel like the fall season you Northern friends of mine experience. Haha! Now I don’t play by most fashion rules and I certainly don’t think you have to stick to a seasonal color palette, but just like I crave Pumpkin Spice Lattes as soon as fall rolls around, I find myself wanting to wear pumpkin colored clothes, shoes and accessories. So, let’s talk about how I’m putting fall into fashion…
For my latest outfit of the day, I decided to style pumpkin orange with navy for a mommy and me fashion shoot. The lil’ lady bean and I were sent mommy and me tunics by NV Blue and I accessorized them with a pumpkin colored hair bow for baby girl and a satchel provided Emilie M for mama. While our navy and white tunics could certainly be considered spring or summer pieces, adding pumpkin to our looks anchored them and gave them more of a decidedly fall like feel. When you’re thinking about putting fall into fashion, it’s key to look for pieces that can easily transition between seasons. And you can bet my pumpkin Emilie M. beauty will now be one of my go to fall handbags!
