Red, White and Blue Dress. Go Team USA!

Little known secret about me. I love the Olympics. Like kinda geek out about them and especially adore the Summer Olympics. I mean…come on! All that SWIMMING! GYMNASTICS! and more SWIMMING! It just gets me all happy and patriotic. It’s the perfect time to pull out my red, white and blue dress and have a little subtle nod to Team USA.
Red White and Blue DressI picked up this loose fitting shift dress from Nordstrom Rack a few months ago. When I bought it I had the 4th of July in mind and its thin material is perfect for a hot mid-summer day. Of course then we were out of town for the 4th and I never actually wore it. I really like the red border of the arms. Typically this cut could be less than flattering but having the contrasting stripe really works!

Of course in this case, its all about the accessories! I am OBSESSED with Kendra Scott right now. I love it all! This is the Phara Necklace and I really like how you can tie it in a knot, a loose knot or wear it open depending on your outfit and length. I can’t wait to keep styling it in fun new ways. Kendra Scott NecklaceThese Kate Spade bow earrings are a great way to have a sweet detail without taking away from the length of the necklace. I received them as a bridesmaid gift and I just love them. Kate Spade EarringsAnd of course, would it really be a summer look if I wasn’t wearing my Michael Kors wedges? These wedges have been everywhere with me this summer! I can’t imagine a better summer shoe that is comfortable and goes with everything!USA DressSo this is how I’m styling my red, white and blue, dress these days as I cheer and scream for USA to bring home the gold!

Oh how fun is this look?! I love red white and blue any time of year, but how perfect right now during the Olympics! I need that necklace too, it’s so classic and pretty!

Thanks! And if only we could find a way to not be so darn tired from watching all those Olympics until midnight!
