Spring Style: White Picks

As much as I love color, there is something so fresh and springy about white…So, I tend to have a good amount of go-to white pieces in my warm weather wardrobe. Not only does white look fabulous as part of a monochromatic look, but it also looks great paired with my favorite bold, bright lip and nail colors. Haha! And I just so happened to have snagged some more white must haves from from J. Jill this year, along with a pair of slim boyfriend jeans. A girl can never have too many pairs of boyfriends! At least this girl can’t.

Let’s first talk about the versatility of a lightweight white sweater. This lightweight open-stitch sweater looks great with jeans, but it would look just as fabulous with a skirt, over a maxi dress or even on top of a swimsuit. I almost want to get one in a bigger size so I can use it as a coverup! I have a nude tank on underneath it, but can you imagine how cute it would be all slouchy with a bright colored swimsuit peeking through? And did I mention it’s on sale?

I also landed on a pair of Superga raffia wrapped platform sneakers. My love for espadrilles knows no bounds…the same goes for how I feel about Superga sneakers. Combine the two and I’m a happy happy girl. These cuties are going to get a lot of play this season…and much like the sweater, they would look as adorable with a flirty skirt as they do with my boyfriend jeans.

And we can’t forget the accessories…My ever present aviator sunglasses and a wrist full of baubles from Joseph Nogucci and J. Jill completed my look. When going the comfy casual route, there’s no need to overdo the accessories.

So, how do you feel about wearing white the spring? For more blanc spring must haves, check out our white blazer look!

I agree, White is beautiful and fresh for Spring. I just love your sweater and espadrille sneakers. I picked up a similar sweater recently and cannot wait to style it on the blog soon. Cute bracelets and those sunnies suit you Kristin. =)
