Summer Wardrobe Essentials: Jockey Skimmies® Slipshorts

Have you ever come across a product that makes you feel SO great in your clothes, you’re not sure how you got dressed before you found it? That is where I’m at with Jockey Skimmies® slipshorts. Jockey sent me some Skimmies® to try out recently and I instantly fell in love. I shared my thoughts about why I love Skimmies® so much in my video below, but the gist of it is, they make me feel much more confident in my clothes making them one of my summer wardrobe essentials!

I actually feel comfortable wearing body conscious pieces now…And that is something that I’ve avoided since I had my precious lil’ lady bean. Thanks to the smoothing effect that Skimmies® provide, I have no problem showing off my post baby curves! Plus, they’re super lightweight and, for summer, that’s clutch because the last thing you want to be wearing when it’s hot out is a constricting undergarment. Am I right?

I highly suggest you try out one of my favorite new summer wardrobe essentials, yourself! Rachel Zoe’s thumbs up alone would have been enough to entice me to try Skimmies®. Haha!

Make sure you check out this video for even more info on Skimmies®. And you don’t want to miss out on the Seize the Day Skimmies® Contest contest (#SkinniesPromo) that’s running from 5/27/14-6/20/14. You could win your own pair of Skimmies, as well as other fun prizes. All the fabulous details can be found on Jockey’s Facebook page!

Disclosure: This post was sponsored by Jockey Skimmies® through their partnership with POPSUGAR Select. While I was compensated to write a post about Jockey Skimmies®, all opinions are my own.

  1. I have never heard of Skimmies before but it is something I need to help smooth out areas on my body. By the way, that dress is so cute on you!

  2. Thanks for the tip – I picked up another brand and Marshalls. I like the idea of them, but these are a little too thick (hot). I’ll have to check out the skimmies.

  3. Here’s my question. How high do they come up on the waist? The photos of the models look like they cut you right under the belly button, and that would create a really unfortunate muffin top on anyone who isn’t 100 pounds like those models, lol. Does it come up high enough to hold in the tummy too?
