Easy Beach Outfit with Sun Protection

If you haven’t noticed, I’m pretty fair. I mean my version of a tan is truly just more freckles. And growing up in Florida means that now more than ever I’m having to protect my skin and try and minimize any any sun damage that’s already been done.

But I LOVE the beach! I mean, its my place to go to for instant calm and zen. I just have to be careful and not go to crazy trying to look like a tan goddess. Lets face it. Its never going to happen!

This is a look I pulled together last week at the beach that included a secret weapon. A wrap by Sundriven. If you haven’t heard of Sundriven, its a clothing line that includes a minimum SPF of 50+ and blocks 98% of the UV and UVB rays.

The fabric actually exceeded my expectations and was really cool and soft to the touch. I also loved the fit. I like having a lot of coverage in the (ahem) back area so I can easily pair with leggings.

Sundriven Wrap

For the look I paired my Sundriven Gemma wrap with a white tank top, dark skinny jeans, a statement necklace from Stella and Dot, and my gold Sam Edelman gladiators. It felt easy and perfect for traveling and I loved that I was protected from the harsh rays but the breathable fabric wasn’t too hot. I also discovered that this wrap is great for throwing on while driving. Am I the only one who gets one arm sun burned if I drive mid-day. Its a little crazy what a sun magnet I am!
This particular morning I was up at sunrise (Thanks for that kids) and took a stroll with my coffee. It was bright and hot faster than I realized and I was thankful for that extra protection.

Now if I could only wear it at the beach EVERY day, ha!Sundriven Wrap
