When I think fall, I immediately think of fall layers. A crisp chill in the air, a coffee in hand (sorry that kind of happens year round), and layers with sweaters, scarfs and tights. For today’s Moms Do Fall Fashion look I’m ramping up my layers this season with fall leggings and boots. And to help me ring in fall fashion today is the fabulous Audrey of Mom Generations. Make sure to check out the great look she put together as well!
Ok, let’s dig into some fall leggings and boots, shall we?! I was recently out shopping with my Mom and we popped into Talbots. I feel like Talbots is somewhere I only tend to go with her, but can discover some really good finds. My favorite wedges are from Talbots, so I’m always game to see what I might find. Well this trip I picked up these leggings. I really like the indigo blue color and the seams. Plus they are just the right weight for fall weather!
I layered my new leggings with this Mossimo navy turtleneck from Target. I love the length and it’s a total steal at $14.99! In fact, I think I need this in more colors since it’s the ideal weight for layering under vests, sweaters and jackets.
Of course, speaking of jackets, I’m excited to be wearing this Trouve moto jacket I snagged at the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. It is so buttery soft and I just love it! And adding an infinity scarf I’ve had in my closet for some time just adds another fun layer. I’m all about a full infinity scarf…It instantly makes me feel pulled together.
These Sam Edelman penny riding boots are in full rotation too. They are so comfortable, and that rich color and penny detail is great. They pull on over leggings so easily that this fall leggings and boots combination will be happening a lot this year in my world.
There’s my first fall leggings and boots layered look of the season! And if you’re like us and just can’t get enough fashion, check out yesterday’s Moms Do Fall Fashion looks with Chic in Academia, Thirty Something Fashion, and Momma in Flip Flops.
