Fall Fashion Lust List

Happy Monday lovelies! This weekend was seemingly gone in an instant and I think it’s because the hubs was outta town…so you know what that means…the dude ran me ragged yet again! He just refuses to stick to his normal bedtime routine when Daddy’s not home. So, thanks to lots o’ middle of the night wake ups, I am T-I-R-E-D. I will say though, having your toddler give you smooches in an effort to convince you to let him stay up is truly heart melting. He’s such a little manipulator. HA! Anyhoo, what  do ya’ll do when you need to draw from energy reserves that simply aren’t there? Hook a sister up with your tips!

One thing that does typically perk me up is fashion. And while I may not be in NYC for fashion week right now, I’ve spent the last several days glued to Twitter, so I could live vicariously through all my lucky Tweeps who are at fashion week and style.com, so I could drool over the collections. As much as I’ve been longing to bust out the fall fashion, I’m now dreaming about next spring thanks to so many fabulous showings at Lincoln Center! But it’s not spring after all. Autumn is officially upon us, so I thought I would show you what’s on my mind when it comes to updating my wardrobe for fall. They’re the pieces that are haunting my dreams mixed in with some reality!

  6. I recently moved from NYC to Florida so fall fashion is not really on my mind right now. ha But those are some beautiful finds! Since I’m northeast in Florida it can get quite cool in the winter. I’m really loving corduroy right now. Would love a coat in a truffle colored corduroy for the cooler days here!

  20. Love all of these! Every single one! I still haven’t made a single fall purchase yet. I’ve been in denial pretending that summer was going to stick around longer. Boy was I wrong!

  24. Could Alexander McQueen do any wrong? Gorgeous, gorgeous. I am also loving everything Alice + Olivia – it’s become a regular stop when I venture into the city! (So mad I’m not there for Fashion Week!).

    Omg, you must be exhausted (though I’m sure you’re son is precious, even with his middle of the night wake ups!). 🙂

  37. Oh, I LOVE those Frye boots — I’m not normally big on over-the-knee boots but these look so soft and the bow is the perfect touch. And those little Steve Madden booties are absolutely adorable! Love the wedges.

    Those Steve Madden booties and that feather skirt are just perfect. I would love a feather skirt!! (probably for much less though, I fear). Not sure where I’d wear it, but maybe just wear it for the joy of wearing it I guess!!

    RE: The Tucker x Target butterfly cami – totally look online. They had a full selection still last night and the tank is only $22.99 I believe (or something close to it). I was lucky to score the dress online at Gilt and it’s equally as cute. Hey, $23 is almost unheard of!! Good luck and I hope you get one!   57. I’m a boots FANATIC–seriously. I’ve been rocking the over the knee boots since 08, and can’t wait to get these sam edelman’s i’ve had my eye on at norstrom. That red top is super cute, and I don’t even wear red, so that’s says alot. this little fashion break is the pick me up i need to get the rest of my “work” done. le sigh…

  69. The feather skirt and the faux fur vest are to die for! I personally think the ONLY thing I want to add to my wardrobe for the fall is a FAux Fur vest and a Faux Leopard jacket.

  72. LOVE that McQueen cape, swoon!!! I hear you, the sleep thing is making me nuts right now – going through a up before dawn and no nap phase. Driving me CRAZY! Hang in there girl, hang in there. I honestly have no energy tips, I feel really old and really tired right now – LOL! Drink lots of water? (or coctails – ha!)

This fall I have been loving the gap jean leggings, jcrew crew cashmere sweaters in new colors and styles (love the heather plum and dark rosewood!), leather jackets, blazers in tweed and herribone and boyfriend styles, plaid boyfriend shirts, deep teals and jewel tones, ladylike skirts and dresses, leopard print shoes, lace, cross body bags and boots boots and more boots!
