Outfit of the Day: Chic, Yet Comfortable Shoes
When Megan and I were in Chicago, we had the pleasure of trying out gifted Lacoste Almont sandals. After our Morning Mixer festivities were over, we had the chance to explore downtown Chicago a bit and the Almonts were just perfect for sightseeing. Shoes that are good for hoofin’ around a city aren’t always cute , so I’m loving that the the ankle wrap style of these sandals is tres current, as well as comfortable.
I styled mine with an eyelet top, vintage tribal necklace and boyfriend jeans, while Megan wore hers with a juicy orange blouse and white denim. As you can see the Almonts are very versatile! You can bet I’ll be rockin’ these bad boys on the regular until the weather cools down. And seeing as I live in Florida, I think I have a while before that happens…
We would love it if you would join, Momtrends and Glamamom for our fashion filled party, Monday Mingle, by linking up your style posts below! This week, one participant will take home a bottle of Deborah Lippman Dark Side of the Moon polish. This vampy, oxblood(ish) shade is perfect for fall!
Disclosure: We received samples for the purposes of review, but the opinions expressed are our own. The giveaway is open to US and Canadian residents of at least 18 years of age and closes on August 19th at 11:59 PM EST. The winner will be chose at random via Random.org. The winner will be noticed via email and if we do not receive a response within 48 hours, a new winner will be chosen.

Man, I miss my cuffed boyfriend jeans. I wore mine so much that I wore them out. You both look adorable!
I got those, no joke, in the juniors department at Nordstrom for under $40!
I know you ladies did tons of walking in Chicago!! I didn’t know though that you had such cute sandals! Love those shoes!!
Dude…They’re like walking on air!
Such perfect style for touring the city!
It was such a lovely day! 🙂
I want those jeans! And those flat sandals. Love them both.
Which jeans? Mine are from the Nordstrom juniors dept. Ha! I can find out about Meg if you like the white! 🙂

They really have so many possibilities! 🙂
Simple, comfortable sandals that are still stylish are key! These are a great option!
It’s so much easier to have fun when you’re comfortable!
Those sandals were made for walking. Perfect for strolling around in the city. I love how you both styled them.
Thank you! I couldn’t believe how comfy they are!
Oooh, those look so comfy! And I love both the colors 🙂

They rock!!
You both look very crisp and put together – not at all what I expect to see from tourists. If I go to downtown Nashville on any given day some of our visitors’ getups are quite frightening!
I can’t wait to see those sandals paired with a dress because I’m betting they’ll look just as stylish 😉
Alicia
I’ll try that next! 🙂
I’ve been seeing sandals like these all around. I really like the color of yours, Kristin.
