Easy DIY Valentine’s Day Centerpiece
I’m so excited to be collaborating with one of my favorite DIY bloggers, Lindsay from Makely School for Girls, for today’s blogger DIY challenge. While Lindsay is a legit, can do anything, kinda DIY blogger, I’m just getting my feet wet, so I’m honored to be partnering with her on this challenge. We met over a decade ago through her sister who was my college roommate. Who would have thought all these years later that we would be collaborating in the old blogosphere?
We’ve each tackled our own version of a Valentine’s Day DIY…I went the easy, budget friendly route with my Valentine’s Day centerpiece. I placed a candle that I rescued from my mom’s house on top of some rolled up cardboard in an Ikea hurricane vase and filled it with pink and red ornaments that I picked up at Target after Christmas for 70% off.
This is a centerpiece so easy anyone can do it! And all in all, the entire thing cost less than $20.00. Plus, everything can be used for Christmas projects too. Being able to reuse your decorations is not only budget saving, it’s space saving too!
