Kid Friendly Easter Table Settings

Easter has always been one of my favorite holidays. So, when Cost Plus World Market offered to send me some gift cards to do a little Easter decorating, I was super excited. Remember the kids’ Thanksgiving table that I styled last year? Well, it was such a hit, I decided to tackle kid friendly Easter table settings.

Our family typically gathers at my mother’s house, so I will probably recreate this over there on Easter, but I wanted to give you a sneak peek of what our little cherubs can expect to find when they sit down to eat their Easter meals…

I had grand plans to share a carefully designed kids’ Easter table, but a shipping mix up threw a wrench in said plans. If there was ever a happy accident, this was one of those. Since I didn’t yet have the bulk of the items I had planned on including in my Easter tablescape, I had to think on my feet and shop my house for pieces that would go with what I did have.

The end results are super easy, yet cute details that you can add to your kid friendly Easter table settings in just a few minutes. To the Golden Books old favorites, Fabric Chicks and Easter Plates that I received from Cost Plus World Market, I added aqua placemats, a jelly bean filled centerpiece (remember Megan’s jelly bean and Peeps centerpiece?) and bunny ears. The kids will end up with a bit of candy in their baskets thanks to the Easter bunny, so I thought books and bunny ears would be better surprises for the table.

So, do you have any fun Easter decorating plans lovelies?
