Stepping into Fall
It’s still summer here but I’m starting to notice little hints of fall. A tree that looks like its turning slightly brown, evenings where the temperature is cooling a bit, and hopefully soon our favorite beverage, the PSL! When Kristin and I were at the White Stallion Ranch, the weather was a great mix of heat during the day and gentle breezes at night. This look is a great way to step into fall. The jeans and boots are perfect for a wide range of temperatures. Meanwhile the light infinity scarf and thin sweater top work together to give off that seasonal vibe.
The jeans are the J. Jill Smooth-Fit Straight-Leg Jeans. While I’m typically very partial to my skinny’s, it is nice to have the variation of a new fit. Straight leg fit is where its at peeps. I also really love a dark or light wash so this really dark wash is great.
Also, a light infinity scarf like this J. Jill vintage paisley option works to give off a nice fall vibe without being too hot. Its also a great way to add a little pattern and pop of color. And of course a basic pullover is so effortless. Just throw it on and go! Gotta love that for the start of the busy school year and lots of activities!
I also picked up these Ray Ban Erika sunglasses while I was in Arizona. Kristin might have lost hers on a fast ride, so of course we used that as an excuse for a little shopping fix. I love the thin frame metal sides and the classic shape of these sunglasses!
