Monday Mingle: Vacation Wear

Remember that cruise Megan and I went on? Well, we had plenty of occasions to get dressed up in the evening and you know this girl brought all her favorite maxis! I’m sure you’ve heard my hard sell on maxis before, but just in case you’re new here…Get ready to find out why maxi dresses are always a part of my vacation wear!
Maxi dresses are my signature piece for so may reasons. They’re ridiculously comfortable, yet can totally be dressed to the nines. They’re, hands down, my go-to vacation dress and for today’s featured look, I rocked a maxi that was not only comfy and pretty, but a killer deal. I scored this little number at Target during one of their buy one get one 50% off promotions and the cost per wear ration came out in my favor the first week. I definitely wore it more than once that week. Haha! This time I paired it with that handmade statement necklace that I rocked a few weeks ago. And speaking of statement necklaces…

I generally keep it low key with necklaces because things around my neck are a little uncomfortable for me.
That’s when a statement cuff or cocktail ring comes in handy! 🙂
