What to Wear on Christmas Day
We’re back with another holiday look for our 12 Days of Holiday Outfits challenge with Jo-Lynne Shane and Cyndi from Walking in Grace and Beauty! And today we’re talking about the big day…What to wear on Christmas Day! I still get as excited about Christmas morning as I did when I was growing up. In fact, watching my kids’ eyes light up is so much better than experiencing that magic myself. You know what I’m talking about…The magic that comes with Santa’s arrival. Plus, now that I’m an adult, I’m so much more attuned to the true meaning of Christmas which is a beautiful thing.
As far as what I wear on this special day, as we’ve gotten older, my sister and I have leaned more toward casual looks for Christmas Day versus the fancy dresses we used to rock when we were wee ones. We still put together cute looks, but now that there are little ones running around, we just find it to be more practical to focus on comfort. I pay attention to it for my kiddos too. My lil’ lady bean may rock a fancier dress on Christmas Eve and a cute little pant outfit on Christmas Day.

I brought back the red flats everyone seemed to love so much and added a pop of animal prints along with a flowy sweater and my beloved faux leather leggings. Would you believe those flats were an under $20 Old Navy purchase? Who knew I would get so much use out of them!
