Champagne Saturday

It’s officially the weekend and we woke up to a gorgeous day here in Annapolis. Close your eyes and picture gauzy curtains swaying to a gentle breeze. Now doesn’t that sound delightful? Ahhh…. Although I actually woke up to a couple cats pouncing on my head, one eye squinting into the sun, things aren’t all bad. There was that blissful breeze I mentioned. Bwah! As far as last night goes, we went out for a dear friend’s 30th birthday celebration, so while this morning was flat out gorge, after a late night of dinner and dancing I rolled over this morning and decided that the day could wait just a teensy bit longer, ha! Hello sleeping in time. I’m sure I wasn’t alone!

As you might have read, Wednesday night was my wedding anniversary, so Floyd and I headed out to dinner to celebrate. Before we hit the road, we toasted to yet another fabulous year together. I can’t believe it’s been a year already since our last anniversary. Time really does fly when you’re happy. I thought these romantic pics were more in the spirit of Champagne Saturday style than my two Advil and strong cup of coffee situation that’s going on today! You don’t want to see the “outfit” I’m currently rockin’. Just sayin’. I’m sure you prefer to get a glimpse at a fun night out on the town kinda look. Haha!

What I’m wearing for my Champagne Saturday Style: Banana Republic dress and leggings (they have great leggings!), Kate Spade strappy gold sandals (note: I scored these for even less on a summer sale at the Kate Spade store!), Lou Lou gold and black bracelet.
What I’m drinking: It’s Prosecco, a sparkling wine favorite of both Kristin and me! What can I say? Us BonBon Rose Girls like our bubbly! Cheers!
