Two Cold Shoulder Styles that Still Work for Spring

The cold shoulder had a real moment last year. It was such a huge trend, in fact, we thought it was going to die out by now. Well, we were wrong. Any bare shoulder look is HOT this season whether we’re talking about off the shoulder, one shoulder, or, yes, cold shoulder styles. So, if you thought you had to put away your cold shoulder pieces this spring, think again. Feel free to go forth and rock them. And if you love the trend so much you want to pick up some more cold shoulder styles, you should have no trouble finding a piece or two that you jive with in the stores. They’re everywhere!

Now you may remember that Megan and I took to the cold shoulder look ourselves, more than a few times last year, so I thought I would share a couple of our favorite cold shoulder outfits in case you needed some motivation to bare those shoulders yet again this season! So, let’s talk about how to wear the cold shoulder look…It’s easier than you think!

Cold Shoulder Top with Shorts

First, you could go the casual route and dress down a cold shoulder top with a pair of spring ready shorts. This is a chic way to style  your shorts and perfect for casual occasions that you still want to look pulled together for.

You could also go slightly dressier with it and rock the cold shoulder vibe in dress form. A little black dress like this works in any season, as do peep toe booties for that matter. Ok, you might not want to wear them in the dead of winter, but peep shoe booties definitely work in the spring! Just sayin’.

So, how do you feel about cold shoulder styles lovelies? Are you ready for the trend to die or do you plan on riding it out out another season?
