Getting that Spa Feeling at Home With RoC
For both Kristin and I, down time to do things for ourselves is a little hard to come by these days. With a ton of responsibilities, kiddos and deadlines all competing for our attention doing things like going to the spa for a facial or even meeting my girlfriends out for a drink and catch up session are treats that I have to work to squeeze in.
Don’t get me wrong…I’m not complaining. I am loving this stage of life and all that comes with it. When a little hand reaches for yours and you hear, “Mama we are on the same team” it melts my heart into a gooey glob. It’s just hard to sometimes squeeze in “me time”. And I not only really rejuvenate during that “me time,” but use it as a way to do, shall we say, a little maintenance. I love looking my best and I’m finding that anything I can do to get that spa feeling at home is helpful. It tends to mean waiting until both kids are asleep, making myself some tea, lighting a candle on my vanity and then giving myself a little mini-facial at home, or taking a hot bath, or just lying there with my eye gel mask and relaxing while also secretly hoping everyone stays put for a hot second. We are just getting to the, “I need a glass of water” stage with Jake and Max is sleeping through the night about 50% of the time, so I literally mean it when I say I am laying there holding my breath hoping everyone stays put. This too shall pass, ha!
I’m excited to share that recently some new RoC products have come into my home spa set-up. Kristin and I are thrilled to announce that we are going to be working with RoC as ambassadors to use and tell you all about our experience with their products over the next several months. We really love that RoC works to bring thoroughly tested anti-aging, over-the-counter, skincare products to women everywhere. I’ve been using RoC RETINOL CORREXION Deep Wrinkle Serum, Eye Cream and MULTI CORREXION 5 in 1 Restoring Night Cream for a few weeks now and, so far, I’m loving the results. Growing up in the Florida sunshine means the past few years I’ve really started to see the effects of all that sun exposure. I’m already noticing some refining of those fine lines around my eyes, in just a few weeks time, and on my forehead as well. I will definitely continue to use them and keep you updated on my results!

I’m with you it’s a holiday just to get to have 5 seconds of peace to go pee. But I wouldn’t change it. I’m all for getting my spa time anyway possible. This sounds like a great way.

There is nothing like a spa day! Sometimes, just sitting in the tub with a candle and some good music is all it takes!
