It’s Good Friday which means that Easter Sunday is right around the corner and if the Easter Bunny hasn’t yet picked up the goodies he/she going to leave for your kiddos this weekend, time is of the essence! Well, the Easter Bunny doesn’t need to panic just yet. I mean as long as the Easter Bunny can find a Target, for example, all hope is not lost. Am I right? Those baskets can be filled in no time…And one brand that’s always a hit for any holiday in my house is Lego.
Whether we’re talking about birthdays, Christmas or even Easter, both my son and daughter can’t get enough of Lego. And being that The Lego Batman Movie was such a huge hit with my son, in particular, I thought a basket with that as a theme would be fun for him to find this Easter. It’s a win win situation for both the kids and their mom. They’ll be thrilled with the toys and I’ll be thrilled with the imaginative play that always comes along with a good Lego building sesh.
On that note, let’s talk about what’s making up this year’s basket…First up, we have the Lego Creative Supplement which is such a great value. While my kids love building the sets, they’re also all about creating their own visions and with all the fun pieces that they’ll find in this box, the sky’s the limit! And they obviously need people to inhabit all the towns they build and Batgirl and The Joker Brick Headz are just perfect for that! Add to to that books, minifigures etc. and you have The Lego Batman Movie fans dream basket!
So, if you’re looking for last minute Easter basket filler ideas, why not head out and pick up some Legos? They’re always a hit! And we have even more Easter basket ideas for creative kids HERE.
