Monday Mingle: Monograms are Still Hot

After a year filled with health battles, I’m in the throws of getting back in shape. And while it feels great to be on my way, black is still my best friend. Haha! I’ve been rockin’ various forms of black with a statement color or two all winter long and this look is no exception.

And as much as I heart black, I heart monograms just as much. I know they’re a bit trendy, but there is something so classic about a monogram piece and is it is with all classics, there is totally an opportunity to funk things up a bit…

VINCA was kind enough to send one of their custom necklaces and I decided to go with a pink acrylic number. You KNOW how much I’m crushin’ on pink right now. It was the perfect pop of color against my CAbi cardy and top, Nordstrom tuxedo pants, Asos feather clutch adn Brian Atwood ankle cuff foot candy.

    I love your monogram necklace – I’ve been lusting after one for ages but I think you need at least three initials for it to work and since I have no middle name, it just doesn’t look right.
