These Boots Are Made for Walkin’!

So, I know most of you gorgeous readers have started thinking about your fall wardrobe. You might not have started shopping yet, but I bet it’s on your mind. It’s on my mind anyway. And boots are first and foremost on my lust list! As much as I love heels, if I’ve got the dude with me I’ve got to be able to run after those speedy little toddler stems of his. So, unless I’m out on the town childless, flat or wedge boots work best for moi. Here are a few pairs that I wouldn’t mind adding to the old wardrobe! What about you lovelies? Which boots are you jonesin’ for?

Ooh, I love those black wedges! They are a staple in my winter wardrobe (tall black wedge boots) but I couldn’t find a pair that worked last year – the hunt continues!! Those are gorg but a little out of my price range!

Oh you are a woman after my own heart! I love tall boots, especially in rich caramel colors, but I don’t like to wear heels very often. These boots are fantastic. I will definitely check out the stores listed here for some new kicks!

Those Madewell boots are beautiful…I think I think so becuase they look just like my boots I bought last fall. Bought them in black since I liked them so much!

I am DYING for a beautiful pair of suede boots…love the beauties that you featured. BUT…sporting three kiddos around…not to mention our NASTY snow…probably not a great move…but a move I might take! Last year I bought my AMAZING knee high Frye’s and am still so in love! I will wear them religiously until they split at the seams! This year’s purchase….Hunter Wellies! They rock in snow…especially with the sock inserts! Now…do I go black or funky RED? πŸ™‚

Mmm I’m still loving my Bandolino Castalina books I splurged for last fall…love them! Did you guys see Jo’s Frye boots giveaway today at Cup of Jo?! REALLY hope I win!

I love my Frye boots, but don’t love that my post-preg feet don’t fit in them anymore. I went up 1 – 1.5 size, had to get all new shoes. I guess that’s not a bad thing, who doesn’t want new shoes, and lots of them!, but I do miss so many of my now too small shoes, I can’t part with them yet.

Looks like I missed a few posts, I just earmarked both the soup and tart recipes, I’m having company this weekend and think I’ll make those! YUM!

WOW, all of these are amazing!
I adore the House of Harlow 1969 Samia Wedge Boot
I live in tall flat / wedge boots year round. They’re comfortable & practical. I’d be lost without them.

    Thanks for stopping by xo

Oh my gosh. You may have single handedly convinced me to give up buying another coat in favour of those madewell boots. they’re perfect. This is why I love fall!

I LIVE in boots come October (through March) and definitely would gladly welcome that Modern Vintage pair into my closet. Boots are great and you can keep them for years to come. I wear my moms knee high, stacked wood heel, brown-burgundy boots from the early 70s!

    adore, adore, adore boots!
Piperlime has some over the knee purple ones that remind me of a pair I had in college. LOVED them. But – mine husband is afraid of them so I gave them away years ago… sigh.
I do like that top pair in flats. I cannot chase children in heels either. I do envy girls who can.
I am having a give away – please stop by:

Dear Sam Edleman: you will be recieving some of my money pretty soon. oh yes! Oh and I LOVE riding boots, have two pais in brown, and still searching for the perfect black ones. for a girl who hates cold weather, I sure do love boots!

  14. Katy Mary says

So I totally was writing a post with the SAME title ahaha! Great minds think alike. I LOVE the House of Harlow wedge boots! I almost included them in my last post πŸ™‚ clearly we have similar taste!

  15. Casee Marie says

I love them all! It’s a problem that my darling boots are all packed away in storage (while I’m stuck in an apartment in the middle of nowhere, wondering where I’m going next., ha). They’ll need to come back to me very soon, I think.

I saw a darling pair of lace-up boots recently, they reminded me of something out of Jane Austen. I could definitely go for a pair of those. (Especially with a bonus Mr. Darcy? A girl can dream!)
