A Perfect Valentine’s Day
Who doesn’t love a good romantic flick? I know this girl does! I’m a total sucker for them and thankfully my hubs is a good sport and has sat through more than his fair share of them over the years, especially on Valentine’s Day. You see, we’ve kind of made it a tradition to stay in, cook a nice meal at home and watch a movie on heart day.
And although, we typically don’t leave the house after our romance filled candlelit dinner, the new Colin Farrell flick, Winter’s Tale, just might inspire us to go out! Luckily it’s being released on February 14, 2013, so it’s perfect timing. And, I have to say, it’s made me wish we lived in a part of the country that sees snow. It doesn’t get much more magical than a snowy evening stroll. Just sayin’!
Winter’s Tale is the stuff miracles are made of…Starring Colin Farrell, Jessica Brown Findlay and Russell Crowe, the magical New York City backdrop, crossed destinies and battle between good and evil are sure to make for an entertaining evening should you choose to make it a part of your Valentine’s Day date night!
My affinity for romantic nights in and snowy evenings inspired me to create A Perfect Valentine’s Day Pinterest board. Check it out out…You just might get some ideas for your own Valenine’s Day plans!
So, that’s my idea of a perfect Valentine’s Day…What’s yours lovelies?

I don’t understand the previews for this movie at all. It seems interesting but oh so confusing. Anyway, I just wanted to say that I, too, am still sad about the season 6 finale of SOA. Can’t believe they did her like that. Looking forward to the season 7 return in September.
Check out the site I linked, there is a synopsis there! 🙂
i love seeing lady sybil (from downton abby) again on the screen! xo
I need to give that a whirl! People are obsessed!
Not sure yet, but hoping for inspiration. I’ll keep this flick in mind though.
I bet the Mrs. would like it!
It was on a list of 16 books to read before they hit the big screen this year. I don’t think I’ll have time to read it…but am very interested in it. XO
This movie looks weird, but intriguing! My man-friend and I will be apart during V-day, but am thinking of watching it with girlfriends as we usually do!
Megan and I have spent money a Valentine’s Day in NYC sans our husbands. Ha!
The movie really looks interesting based on the previews I’ve seen. I have concluded that it is a mix of romance and fantasy based on the movie clips. I am going to wait for reviews befor I go see it. I am hoping it will be a good film. I am a Russell Crowe fan.
I stopped by from the Creative Mondays mingle.
