Tis’ the Season Link Up: Easy Valentine’s Day Desserts Decorating
It’s Jackie Fo here with an easy tip to make your Valentines Day a little sweeter. And yes, it’s almost time for Valentine’s Day if you can believe it? Didn’t we just ring in the New Year?? I know the BonBon Rose Girls are big heart day fans, so now is as good a time as any to start thinking about Valentine’s Day plans right? So, let’s talk about Valentine’s Day desserts…
If you’re planning to celebrate Valentine’s Day with a romantic dinner or fun party and want to serve an easy, cute dessert, I’ve got just the thing for you…Simply buy a plain white frosted cake and/or cupcakes from your grocery store. They are usually just a couple of bucks and you don’t have to spend a lot of time baking.

Now comes the fun part – the decorating! Using pre-cut garland from a craft store like Michaels and striped paper straws, create a mini-pennant banner like this one! All you need to do is tape or glue the hearts to the back of the each straw, letting the garland swag in the middle. Top the cake with heart shaped sprinkles and you have a dessert worthy of any celebration!
For the cupcakes, decorate with sprinkles, a strawberry heart, or pennant flags found at any craft store. These are perfect for gifts to give your kids teachers or to serve at a party. And the strawberry heart are super easy to make, yet look like you put in a ton of effort. Don’t you love that? Haha!
Decorating these Valentine’s Day desserts really does take less than 5 minutes and none of these ideas break the bank, so hop on board and show off your own dessert! We would love to see them if you end up making your own easy, yet festive Valentine’s Day creation!
