Valentines Made Easy

You may remember me mentioning that the hubs and I don’t make a big to do out of Valentine’s Day for each other. We usually enjoy a nice evening at home that, more often than not, involves a bottle of wine and a flick or DVR fest. It’s a rare occasion that we actually leave the house on heart day. That doesn’t mean we don’t love each other to the moon and back…We just prefer to stay comfy and cozy at home versus braving the crowds.

I’ll never forget the first year we started our Valentine’s Day tradition…We had been married about nine months and had found out we were expecting to the dude a few months beforehand…Needless to say, my morning, noon and night sickness made it impossible to go out, so the hubs gathered up some snacks that I could actually keep down, along with some gingerale and a couple of nice chick flicks. Is he a prince or what? He managed to unexpectedly make that Valentine’s Day in so fun, we’ve done something similar ever since.

Clearly we buck against the norm when it comes to Valentine’s Day and that’s why I’m loving the justWink app so much. justWink allows you to create and send a digital card in no time flat. There is nothing my darling hubs hates more than buying cards, so this app was MADE for him! Haha! I may not demand a fancy night out, but there is no excuse for him not to throw a few sappy words at me now that justWink has made sending Valentines so easy…Am I right? You can download your own justWink app HERE…or better yet, put it on your honey’s phone. Haha!
