Monday Mingle: Wide Legs
After a winter filled with skinnies, I’m ready to say hello to wide legs! Subtle seventies influences are going to be big for spring once again and I’m getting a jump on the trend with a pair of printed wide leg pants that I picked up on my trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains over the holidays. Don’t hate me because I went sleeveless. Haha! It’s rather warm here in Florida. I’m probably jinxing myself, but we’ve enjoyed a very mild winter and I’m loving being able to run out during the day sans jacket. Bring on spring baby…I’m ready! I’m sure you can tell that I have spring on the brain. I’m all about COLOR at the moment. And my new wide legs have all kinds of color in them!
While I opted to pair these wide legs with my beloved lace sleeveless CAbi needle lace shell, you Northerners could easily substitute in a sweater. There’s no reason why you have to wait a few more months to rock spring’s wide leg pants if you’re feelin’ them now. I wore mine with t-strap heels from JustFab, but you could try ankle boots on for size!

It’s actually warm and rainy here in the Bay Area so it’s reminding me a lot of Florida right now.
What a fun pair of printed pants! I must agree, sometimes it is just so nice to break off from the usual silhouette.
Very cute, wide legs have been on my mind a lot too as well as bringing some flare ones back into my rotation. I like the bold colors and the lace shell that helps tone down the top. Very pretty friend! 🙂

Kristin, four words: I LOVE YOUR PANTS!! They are incredible! (Okay, that’s three more words!) No but really, they are. I would totally wear those ALL. OVER. THE. PLACE. (Four more words!!) They kind of remind me of this #ootdof mine a while back. For some reason this style really works with my body shape. It looks like it does with yours too. Great styling. I detest pants, have one pair for when I need them (housecleaning or such) and wear leggings under my dresses. The palazzos are cute, though, and my daughter likes them.
