New Lip Colors For Summer
While I love fun bold lips, my everyday lip color tends to be a little more neutral and glossy, especially in the summer. In between working, I’m constantly in and out of the pool, parks, and just all around active. I don’t necessarily have the time or desire to do a whole routine complete with liner multiple times a day in between sweat sessions. Which is why I decided to update my make-up with a few new lip colors for Summer that are low maintenance and fuss free.
The first I found is Dolly by Buxom. It’s a nice subtle plum shade that I think would look great on just about everyone. Its a little glossy with a slight plumping effect that I really like since my lips are on the thinner side. Truth be told I didn’t even realize the plumping factor was part of it until after I purchased, but its definitely an added bonus. This is for sure going to be a quick go-to in my purse all summer long.
To switch up my color from a more neutral plum, I also found this Too Faced Coral Fire Color Drenched Lip Cream. My lips have a lot of pink in them so the shade definitely registers on the more coral side for me and I love the pop of color that still feels easy.
And if bold colors are what you’re feeling, I’m still loving this Bobbi Brown shade that I swiped from Kristin’s bag when I was at her house. I sadly put it back but have since bought this similar shade of Watermelon for myself. I just have to take the time to exfoliate and add a liner since its more of a matte. I’m pretty fair so I like how the color really pops.
