Have you entered our Alexandra Beth Designs earrings or $85 Fantasy Jewelry Box shopping spree giveaways?

Today I am joining the throngs of bloggers who are promoting Breast Cancer awareness this month. It truly warms my heart to see so many people posting about this as four years ago I lost my Auntie/godmother/Mama’s best friend to this dreaded disease. I saw first-hand how it can ravage a family and I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy! All of us women owe it to ourselves and to our loved ones to became educated in Breast Cancer prevention. So, let’s hear it for self breast exams and living healthier lifestyles. That is how I honor my Auntie. Won’t you join me?

And if you’ve been bitten by the shopping bug and want your purchases to go toward a cause this month…consider these fabulous products!

I am a huge breast cancer awareness supporter and I was so excited to see all the ways to look cute and show my support. I’m torn between the Estee Lauder lip package and the Bobbi Brown brick. Have a great weekend!

Fabulous items for such a great cause! I’m really loving that scarf and the bracelet.

Thanks for sharing these wonderful finds that are supporting the Cause for the Cure and awareness of Breast cancer. (My hubby’s mom was a breast cancer survivor in the 1970’s and lived a blessed life, but would have wanted more years to have her here with us. She passed away in ’97 after it came back.)

    Blessings & Aloha!
After returning from our visit with family, it was straight to work, but I had yesterday and today off from work, so I hope to get caught up on some blog reading. I also wanted to let you know that one of your comments was drawn for one of the 20% certificate giveaways towards the art that I do. Please come by or let me know if you are interested.

Love this post! I have been involved with the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer myself and raised almost $1,000. Thank you for bringing awareness of charitable purchases in this pink month ๐Ÿ˜€

So many of these things are so lovely – but I tend to take issue with all the promotion around breast cancer awareness & prevention. It’s a prevalent disease, & a devastating one – there are, however, so many other diseases that are, frankly, just as prevalent, if not more so, & far more deadly. My father died of lung cancer, the number one cancer killer in the country – but there’s no pretty color for lung cancer, no fancy boots or scarves. I give my money to the American Cancer Society – they can decide which form of of cancer needs my donations most.

I’m so sorry for your loss. For me, breast cancer awareness is very personal, so that’s why I posted about it and feel passionate about supporting it. That’s what is so great about the blogosphere, you can raise awareness about what cause is close to your heart on your blog. Lung cancer is most certainly another tragic illness and I, for one, would be up for reading about it’s prevention. Aside from not smoking, I have no idea what other steps can be taken…if any. : )

This is very near and dear to my heart. My mom developed breast cancer a few years ago, and although she is okay now, it was quite a scare. Thank you for spreading breast exam awareness (thanks to her annual exam, it was discovered very early) and for promoting these lovely products.

I love those cookies… and my blogger pal, Jessica! (She’s the one who inspired me to start a blog!).

I have that Bobbie Brown eyeshadow and absolutely love it. Actually I have two different palettes and it’s the only eyeshadow I wear! And love that scarf too ๐Ÿ™‚
