Three Stylish Mamas: Glasses.com

mamas

It’s time for another edition of Three Stylish Mamas! In case you aren’t familiar with our collaboration…I’ve joined forces with my favorite fashionable partners in crime Jill from Glamamom and Carly from Thirty Something Fashion to show you that mamas don’t ever have to sacrifice their style.

This go around we have come together to each style a pair of sunnies that Glasses.com sent to us. Glasses.com allows you to virtually “try on” your glasses through an app which makes shopping for glasses online much more appealing to this girl.  Just like with swimsuits, I find it difficult to buy eyewear unless I can see them on my face. So, being able to get an idea of how certain frames would look on me was a great option to have. Full disclosure, it took longer than the average two week turn around for me to receive my sunglasses, so I would take that into account if you need something super fast.

Inspired by my beloved Jill, I picked out a pair of Michael Stars cat eyes. She always looks so fabulous in them and after my Vince Camuto purchase last year, I decided I needed yet another pair of cat eyes! I styled them with a CAbi blazer, Banana Republic jeans, TJ Maxx lace top, LOFT neck candy, Steve Madden ankle strap heels and Rebecca Minkoff tote. I had a little helper while I was shooting my pics and she took charge of my bag most of the time, so I only got one detail shot. It’s a good thing she’s so darn cute when she’s prancing around with my purses slung over her shoulder. Haha!

On a side note, my resolve to add some aviators to my sunglasses collection is even stronger now that I’ve seen Carly in those killer Ray-Bans! The hubs isn’t a fan, but I bet he will be after seeing Carly rock them. Just sayin’. Ok, now that you’ve seen my sunnies style, head on over to see how Jill and Carly styled their Glasses.com sunglasses of choice!
