How to Wear a Bomber Jacket this Spring

Like I mentioned the other day, I haven’t quite given up on jackets yet. Early spring can still throw the occasional curveball, even here in Florida, so having fun lightweight jackets on hand for those unexpected chilly temps is clutch. I already showed you my casual hooded jacket and today we’re going to talk about another piece of spring outerwear that I’m crushin’ on, the bomber jacket. In fact, the bomber jacket has been having a real moment and it’s a moment that doesn’t seem to be over quite yet. The look is alive and well and SO easy to style!

A bomber jacket is the perfect layering piece for days when it might be a bit cooler in the morning, for instance, and then warmer later in the day. In this look I’m wearing a basic black tank and oh so comfy boyfriend jeans with a super fun embroidered bomber jacket that I got in my latest Stitch Fix delivery. This is casual wear at its easiest folks. My jacket was so statement making on it’s ow that I needed little else to complete the look than simple gold drop earrings and my go-to black booties. See? Easy peasy!

And every look needs a great bag right? On that note, I’ve been super into backpacks lately. Hey, this busy mama is all about convenience and it doesn’t get much more convenient than a backpack! My new Solo Bridgehampton Backpack will be getting a lot of play for just that reason. Not only is it super roomy, but it’s super chic at the same time. You gotta love it when form and function come together to make one fabulous bag!

  1. That is a great jacket! I am all for comfort, so tend to wear a lot of jeans. I love how this outfit still feels dressed up, even though it is comfy and simple.
