What to Wear on New Year’s Eve
Being in the throws of the holiday season means that New Year’s Eve is on its way! And today we’re focusing on New Year’s Eve style for our latest 12 Days of Holiday Outfits challenge look. So, let’s talk about what to wear on New Year’s Eve!
Now we haven’t gone out on New Year’s Eve in years, but I still like to put on a pretty outfit for the occasion because…why not? Rather than deal with getting a babysitter and braving the New Year’s Eve crowds, we usually cook a special meal, blow noisemakers with the wee ones and toast to the new year all cozied up on our couch. It’s pretty darn fabulous, I must say.
Seeing as I’ll be toasty warm inside and not braving the chilly weather, CAbi’s Needle Lace Shell is perfect for my New Year’s Eve celebration. Bare arms are no problem when you’re inside! And even if you do have fabulous New Year’s Eve plans outside your home, this top makes a perfect layering piece. And it looks even more fabulous when you set it off with a glam statement necklace.

And I, of course, had to add a bright pop of color on my lips. I love a good all black lip, but I have to have that pop of color somewhere!
