Weatherproof Must Haves for Fall

While fall is just beautiful most of the time, a storm here and there is definitely possible, so I like to have some go to weatherproof pieces on hand that I can turn to when rainy weather strikes. There is nothing worse than being cold and wet right? Ugh! Now when you think about rainy day gear, your mind probably turns to raincoats and wellies right? Well, those are definitely great pieces to have in your wardrobe, but a cute windbreaker and chic waterproof boots have their place too! And that brings me to today’s featured look…

J. Jill was kind enough to send over their Pure Jill Windbreaker in classic black and it goes perfectly with my new Rockport moto boots! Paired with my favorite broken in jeans and a pop of color from the plaid blanket scarf that I snagged on my latest trip to our family’s mountain retreat, and I have a warm, yet weatherproof look, that I can tackle any rainy day with! Did I mention I’m kind of obsessed with plaid blanket scarves too? Remember the red and ivory oversized scarves I shared last year? Clearly they weren’t enough? I had to pick up more. Haha!
