Hornitos Tequila

Halloween is such a festive time to entertain and throw parties. The weather has turned and there is a brisk feeling of mischief in the air. And while kids events can be cute, I love having a more grown-up evening with costumes and cocktails.

Over-the-top details like decor, eerie music and dim lighting set the mood. Add in some fun food and creative cocktails and you’ve got yourself a Halloween party! Here is a new household favorite, Frank-n-Brew. The sweet taste and Hornitos® tequila pair perfectly with party food and the glowing green color screams Halloween.

Halloween Cocktail

2 cups of water
1 (6oz) package lime gelatin
3 cups of pineapple juice
2 liters of lemon lime soda or ginger ale
1 ½ cups of Hornitos® tequila

  1. Boil the 2 cups of water. Pour the gelatin mix into the bottom of a large punch bowl. Pour the boiling water on top of the mix and stir for a few minutes until thoroughly dissolved.
  2. Next stir in the pineapple juice, followed by the soda or ginger ale.
  3. Finally stir in the Hornitos® tequila.
  4. Serve and Happy Haunting!

That sounds super-sweet, but very tasty. I thought I had my cocktail chosen for next week’s party but I might need to make a slight adjustment now!

I spent one too many nights in Mexico to even smell Tequila anymore! But this looks like a fun drink. I could surely substitute some vodka in there!
