Wine Country Inspired Fashion
As I think most of you have heard by now, Meg flew in this weekend to meet me at my fam’s vacation home in Clayton, GA and we had a splendid few days filled with blogging, bonding, eating, and of course, imbibing. Speaking of imbibing, on Sunday we went for a little tasting at a local winery called Tiger Mountain Vineyards.
Did I mention we had le toddler in tow? That’s how us BonBon Rose Girls roll. HA! He actually had quite a blast racing all around the grounds and the owners couldn’t have been sweeter to him. The best part about it is that our jaunt to Tiger Mountain was totally spur of the moment. We were trolling around the historic downtown when we saw a sign for a winery that was two miles away and thought…why not?
After drinking a couple glasses of our locally bought vino, I was inspired to seek out some wine colored clothing. Wine is such a fabulous color for the cooler seasons. And it’s just perfect for those that are weary of shocking red tones.
Left to right: Paula Bianco Infinity Scarf at Boutique to You, Forever 21 Sheer Chiffon Top {BonBon Deal of the Day at $24.80}, Kate Spade Wine Glitter Dot Velvet Heels at Zappos Couture, Anthropologie Wardrobe Staple Cardigan, Modcloth Carafe of Vino Dress, Rebecca Minkoff Textured Croc Morning After Mini

Love wine (practically my hobby!!) and love this wine color. Great outfit inspiration here. Also, wanted to say good luck to you lovely ladies at the bump. Seriously-I truly adore your blog and just being nominated in the same category as you is enough for me. Happy Monday!!!

Sounds like a very fun time! I just voted for you :] I’ve always steered clear of wearing bright red (probably due to the fact that I worked at Target in my teenage years), but I’m definitely digging the wine color!

I just love this! I’m doing a post on the beauty of wearing blue. I just love the jewel tones. You picked some great ones!

Rabun County, GA, huh? Clayton? My husband and I met and fell in love in Clayton at the Boy Scout camp (Camp Rainey Mountain). We have a bottle of Tiger Mountain Vineyard wine made during June 2003 (when we met) that sits in our kitchen as a reminder of how we met and how much much we’ve grown together.
PS- my favorite part of Tiger, GA is the Tiger Drive-in. So many good memories! Hope you both are having fun!!
@Viktoria, How cool! I REALLY love it up there!
Wine inspired clothes? I can’t think of a better idea. I want so badly to pour myself a big glass right now and order that Anthro cardigan.
